Her work explores love, grief, identity, and healing, often lingering in the in-between moments where growth quietly begins. She writes for anyone learning how to soften without disappearing and for those finding their way back to themselves through language.

She is also the founder of cozy ink press, an independent poetry and publishing press that supports writers through community-driven projects, writing prompts, and publishing opportunities. What began as a small creative outlet has grown into a platform centered on connection, encouragement, and thoughtful storytelling.

At the heart of her work is a belief that writing can be both a personal practice and a shared experience, and that creativity doesn’t have to happen in isolation. Across the page and beyond it, Z. Elliott is committed to creating spaces where stories are honored, creativity feels accessible, and words feel like home.
