She writes for anyone learning how to soften without disappearing and for those finding their way back to themselves through language.
She is also the founder of cozy ink press, an independent poetry and publishing press that supports writers through community-driven projects, writing prompts, and publishing opportunities. What began as a small creative outlet has grown into a platform centered on connection, encouragement, and thoughtful storytelling.
At the heart of her work is a belief that writing can be both a personal practice and a shared experience, and that creativity doesn’t have to happen in isolation. Across the page and beyond it, Z. Z.Elliott's second poetry collection was born during National Poetry Month as a daily practice of presence and release. Each poem began as a prompt, offered by fellow poets within the writing community or through cozy ink press. As the month went on, this project evolved into a mirror of the emotional landscapes being navigated in real time. What emerged is a collection that honors grief, growth, desire, and the sacred act of becoming. These pieces were written in the quiet hours and moments of unraveling and from the small resurrections that followed. It is both a love letter to poetry and a testament to how words can hold us when nothing else can.
